My kid doesn't want to practice!

You bought a piano and your kid doesn't want to practice?

An easy and proven method by many of our Melodious parents. ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐— ๐—จ๐—ฆ๐—ง ๐—ง๐—ฅ๐—ฌ ๐—œ๐—ง ๐—ง๐—ข๐——๐—”๐—ฌ!

For a start,

1. Make it Obvious

Help your child to setup a timetable.

E.g. Play piano at 8pm

2. Make it Easy

Are you thinking to get your kid to practice half an hour or one hour for a start?

Please DON'T!

This will add a lot of burden for a young kid or sadly to say it might kill her/his interest.

Set something easy to achieve.

E.g. ask the kid to choose their his/her songs and play two times each.

3. Make it Satisfying

How to make this habit continuously and more likely to repeat?

Immediate reward, reward, reward!

๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿญ ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€ is the time frame needed to help your child to start a new habit โ€“ practice piano.

PERSISTENT, CONSISTENT and COMMITTED!
